With the COVID-19 virus being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, the Quebec government has banned all events of more than 250 people. As a result, we regret to inform you we have postponed the IFW 2020 conference and all parallel activities. The Local Organising Committee considers the health of our speakers, exhibitors, and larger community of utmost importance. So far, one important measure has been shown to be effective against the coronavirus: social distancing. Therefore, we have decided it is ultimately safer to wait to host our conference and related events.

We are still finalizing details for the postponed events; we can announce that we have already managed to reserve the same conference facilities for June 2022. We appreciate your patience as we sort out the many administrative issues related to this file and look forward to releasing future developments. In particular, we will be in touch regarding specific administrative details for those who have already registered, as well as options for our many industry partners and participants of the tradeshow.
We are certainly disappointed and do apologize for the inconvenience, however, the health and safety of all of us and our families hold far greater value.

Thank you for understanding and please stay tuned for more information. We will make an official announcement when the new dates and schedule are confirmed.

All registrations purchased will remain valid for the event, we will confirm the reimbursement options at time of the announcement. No action is required on your part at this point.

Sincerely, Grant Vandenberg, on behalf of the Local Organising Committee,
